| This is when the roof "truss" beams are installed. Had these trusses been designed to their actual size, the whole process of assembly would be hours longer and the cost of the basic kit would have increased by at least one third. | |

| This is the photo angle most used in books and other literature about 19th century railroad stations and can also be found throughout the internet. Note the "smoky gray" weathering overspray used along the lower edges of the western roof overhang. That's where the trains chuffed up next to the depot to offload and board passengers. | |
